We have always heard people talking about “timeless classic” in fashion term. To me, Patricia Von Musulin happens to be just that. Her dedication to experimentation and exploration has led to produce such fine and timeless beautiful jewelry and accessories.
Estee Lauder, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, Victoria’s Secret, Absolute Vodka have all used her accessories in their advertising. Don’t be surprise even Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Bill Blass, Carolina Herrera, Bally all have featured her work in advertising campaigns as well as runway shows.
We love the Lucite collection, almost crystal clear and transparent. It is unique in a way that it is able to absorb light, therefore creating different lights to it each time you move. This is definitely something never goes out of style!
Are you a pin-up fan? We always love pin-up girl tattoo, we also come across a few pin-up illustration posters every now and then. But where have the movement gone? Maybe the garter-belt is not as popular now, but we do still see pin up girls as one of the favorite tattoos among tattoo lovers. Let us celebrate Gil Elvgren (1914-1980) again, one of the premiere American pin-up artists. Aren’t they just lovely?
There is a special place in Athens in the Kolonaki shopping district where a unique shop NUMBER 3 is. We are not talking about just fashion, but the shop interior as well. Since its operation in 2008, the shop has been generating buzz with all fashionistas and Comme des Garcons fans. The reason is simple, it was the continuation of the Guerilla store legacy by CDG in Athens. It was actually a store which belongs to the new generation “like boys” fans by Comme des Garcons.
Rei Kawakubo, the sole owner of CDG wants to see how an entrepreneur could develop their new generation store by having the knowledge and the standards set forth from the previous stores. Designed by Dimitris Papadopoulous the owner himself with Yiannis Kondilis. The concept is simple and pretty basic focusing on “white, light and bright” to continue using the reference of the former Guerrilla Store 2. Then a beautiful baby is born. According to the owner, they want to promote style in every possible way, not just fashion per se; that is… carefully selected fashion for substantial personal expression’s sake.
We are wondering if CDG will set up more guerrilla stores like this in our part of the world. And we are anticipating the good news soon we hope!
Since young we love to see our daddies carry briefcases and luggage. It is a symbol of well being, sophisticate, style and status. Fast forward to today’s fashion, nothing is impossible now. If Louis Vuitton is famous for the regular luggage then who is for irregular ones?
Her name is Sarah Williams, a London College of Fashion graduate student. Her “Crafted Fashion” is beautifully crafted and take the classic men’s luggage to the next level which represent what today’s fashion is all about.
“Historically exceptional craftsmanship was the norm now it is the exception.” Sarah Williams stated.
Each product is handmade and produced by the leather of the best quality and every stitch is completed by hand. We fall in love immediately and already thinking what to put inside. Money?

We have a feeling that Lady Gaga will be rocking his work anytime soon! The new fresh graduate who has interned for Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Claire Tough is ready to take London by a storm, if not the world. The Central Saint Martins graduate recently presented his graduation collection last Sunday and the collection is looking fresh, creative, fashionable and very Sheep & Lambs stylish!
We are ready for him. His name is Shao-Yen Chen. You might want to remember his name.
LACOSTE begins the new year with a cheerful and colorful Colour Blocked Pop collection that put on a smile everyone’s face. Creative Director Christopher Lemaire deftly demonstrated with his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection that took iconic sportswear staples and stretched them beyond their imagined boundaries.
The show was held on 13 February 2010 at The Tent, Bryant Park. Now, we are taking you to the backstage and front row. You ready for the show?
No one does it better than Goldfrapp. We get ultra excited whenever Goldfrapp releases a new album. Because simply we don’t know what to expect. Folk or electronica? We have been her long time fan and with the latest album “Head First” don’t seem to disappoint at all. The London based duo of Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory this time round collaborated with Richard X and released three remixes on the recent single “Rocket“. Ooh, how we love it!!! The track take cue from 80’s retro pop music but with the remixes, it sounded more spacey and very dance addictive just like the previous Ooh La La! We can’t wait to lay our hands on the full album but things are looking good for now.
Talking about the return of the 90’s, we really think it will be a big bang from 2010 onwards. First we have seen Jeremy Scott taking an ode to the 90’s Gaultier. Now, to reinvent the 90’s element and silhouette in a wearable and modern way is no other than Alexander Wang. This Autumn Winter 2010 collection indeed consists a strong mid 90’s essence. Take a look at his runway show at New York Fashion week. If you are not convince yet, take a further look at the backstage pictures of Wang after the jump.
We have been talking a lot about the returning of 90’s fashion, not sure are you guys actually ready to abandon the 80’s? Just to have a taste of preview of what is the 90’s inspired trend would look like; no one would does it better than Jeremy Scott of course. Seen in New York fashion week, the cheeky designer takes an ode to early 90’s Gaultier, reinvent the infamous Madonna’s Blonde Ambition Tour look with high ponytail and the Gaultier’s infamous corset bra top. However, the collection is very 90’s to me, turtlenecks, tight mini dresses, shirt dress, off/drop shoulder and high boots! Who can actually forget the awesome 90’s really? You ready for a revolution of trend? We know we are!
