In no time, the ground floor of the High Street section in One Utama will be transformed into a paper wonderland as Antalis Paper Fantasy unfolds. This exhibition, organized by Antalis Malaysia, aims to showcase the endless possibilities of creative paper usage by fusing design, architecture, art and fashion into a visual and tactile experience.

Antalis Malaysia is the subsidiary of Antalis Group, the number one ranked paper distributor in Europe. Some of the most recognizable paper brands distributed by Antalis are the Conqueror, Curious, Rives and Cocoon papers.

The theme of the de-greening of the environment provides the backdrop for the exhibition, thus, the exhibition will be set up in a fantasy, almost harsh, white environment to illustrate how we might actually lose our warm, green world if we handle our natural resources carelessly.

The exhibition will be built to showcase large-scale paper architecture, sculptures and models. The very structure and walls themselves are made from paper – crumpled, folded or rolled to bring out the best textures and shapes. At the heart of the exhibition is 4ft tall paper unicorn, flanked by a landscape of 15 paper trees contributed by various local designers and design schools. Other exhibited components include paper lampshades, origami and printed samples.

Local fashion designer Micky Tan (MT Fashion Studio) has been roped in to create a series of paper fashion for this event, with scheduled fashion shows running on both 17 and 18 July.

This exhibition is under the creative direction of Figtree Design. They are working in collaboration with paul+pris, an interior design duo who are designing the exhibition space, the interior and its products.

Antalis Paper Fantasy exhibition will run from 16 -18 July 2010 at The High Street, Ground Floor, One Utama.

The girls are back!  And we are talking about the much anticipated return of the Sex and the City girls to the big screen in New Line Cinema‘s forthcoming motion picture “Sex and the CIty 2.”   Moët & Chandon will be throwing an exclusive movie premiere at the GSC in Pavillion on June 16, 2010. This will be followed by an after party at Rootz, Lot 10.
To obtain an invitation to Moet & Chandon’s exclusive screening of Sex and the City 2 and the after party, simply purchase a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne from today onwards at any of these participating outlets:

- Rootz, Lot 10
- Skybar, Traders Hotel KL
- SevenAte9, KL

That is not all!  Just like the glamorous girls of “Sex and the City 2″, Moët & Chandon has also created four champagne cocktails inspired by the film’s dazzling leading ladies namely The Fashionista, The Socialite, The Player and The Bombshell.  This is what we called a party!

To reinforce this long-held love affair and in honor of the film’s release, Moët & Chandon celebrates once more its passion and commitment to cinema by bringing together the magic of champagne and the glamour of cinema bringing to life a celebration of the senses and the emotions.

I don’t believe in the Republican party or the Democratic party. I just believe in parties.”  Stated Samantha Jones.

New Line Cinema‘s Sex and the City 2 will be released in Malaysia on June 17, 2010 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
