The Married to the Mob Dunk Highs have received an extremely positive reaction since being unveiled on the web a few weeks ago, and It’s not difficult to see why. MOB head Leah McSweeney takes her inspiration from Chanel and uses touches of black patent leather and a woven material similar to what can be found on many of their kicks; the results are a very crisp and clean pair or Dunks that bear a touch of high-fashion influence.
The collab is a Tier 0 release and is set to launch this weekend at several spots in America and Europe, fortunately Limited Edt Vault, Singapore, will have some in albeit at a later date. Wednesday night, Nike launched their Nike Sportwear (or NSW for short) range by setting up a modular pop-up space constructed from recycled shipping containers right outside The Pavilion, along the bustling Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur.
Eight individual artists/collectives compromising Bright Lights at Midnight, Findars, Hugo Garden’s, Lisa Foo, Saiful Razman, Streething, Ultraboy and Vincent Leong were invited by Nike to produce an installation art space that pays tribute to one of the eight icons of Nike Sportswear: the Dunk, Cortez, Air Force 1, Air Max 90, Eugene track jacket, Windrunner, AW77 hoody, and the NSW tee.
Apart from the installation art spaces showcasing the interpretation of the eight icons by the artists/ collectives, the transparent canopy covered pop up space also exhibits pieces of the upcoming NSW collection, so it’s really worth checking out if you’re in the area. Stay tuned for more updates from the NSW launch in Malaysia.

Carri Mundane is literally running the NU RAVE fashion scene with her upcoming Nike Blazer x Cassette Playa. Carri was spotted at Nike NSW Beijing launch which left us wondering what was she doing with Nike. Shortly after, the visual of Cassette Playa x Nike Blazer was posted on the internet. The colour combination for this pair of blazer in pink/ apricot with blue sole is really well coordinated and tastefully done we must say. Sadly no news has been reported on the release. We will keep you posted!
