What do you get when you cross a good pair of sneakers and sportswear with a damn-fine-worthy cause?

Realizing breast cancer is the number one killer among women in the world, Avon Foundation is collaborating with Reebok to organize the 2008 Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer.

Reebok is a strong supporting partner of the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade and has worked in conjunction with the Foundation to launched its Spring-Summer Pink Ribbon Collection comprising the symbolic Pink Ribbon featured on its best walking footwear and apparel. Reebok’s Pink Ribbon branded products help raise awareness for the Avon Walks and, in addition, Reebok has made a significant donation to the foundation.


Launched in 51 countries throughout the world, sales from the collection in Malaysia will be channeled to the Pride Foundation, a charity body that aims to create awareness and improve accessibility to treatments and care for breast cancer.The Pink Ribbon collection is being sold at 35 Reebok outlets nationwide from July 1 onwards.

Inspired by sexy school girls, ski bunnies and spring getaways, Reebok teamed up with acclaimed actress Scarlett Johansson this fall for a first of its kind co-collaboration- Scarlett “Hearts” Reebok collections.

Combining fun seasonal color palettes with tactile materials such as luxe leathers, corduroy, waffle knits, wool and silk/cashmere blends, a fresh and feminine collection was created by this collaboration to reflect Scarlett’s personality and style. The Scarlett “Hearts” Reebok fall footwear line combines athletic silhouettes with feminine detailing. This collection features the SJ Freestyle Evolution, a modern take on the most iconic Reebok Freestyle, on top of the SJ Retro Aztec finished in a rich corduroy fabric paired with luxe leathers.

The Scarlett “Hearts” Reebok footwear and apparel collections will be available globally beginning in July of 2008.

In what seems to be the biggest womens collaboration sneaker, the Reebok Freestyle x Colette x Married To The Mob sneaker is hitting all the right notes. Finished in white leather upper with the infamous MTTM Lips Logo all-over print, a translucent pink outsole with the MTTM Lips Logo visible through the outsole, Colette logo on the left heel and MTTM logo on the right heel, and a keychain to complete this fast-selling triple collaboration.

Only 300 pairs of the shoe were produced, with more than two-thirds of the pairs already sold by Married to the M.O.B. and Colette. ALIFE is proud to be the only retailer in North America to be able to offer these shoes.
