Check out Ray-Ban’s latest Wayfarer Rare Prints Collection this Fall/Winter 2010. With a range of colours and a variety styles, this season features plenty of patterns and crazy colorways.

“For Fall/Winter 2010, Ray-Ban introduces more innovative themes in two models (Wayfarer and Wayfarer II) featuring the NY Subway design on the front, and the stripe motif on the top front, respectively. Two more key themes are found in Ray-Ban’s special Rare Prints series; “Comics” and “Button Pins”. Both are related to trends in pop culture, cinema, and advertising, revamped as fashion trends in 2010-2011. The “Comics” line, in different bright-colored versions, features black-and-white faces of bold retro inspiration. The “Button Pins” are real coloured pins imprinted in the textures that brighten up the RB 2140 model with vibrant colours and imaginative designs. Ray-Ban’s standard collection will include the “Color Twirl” motif, whose innovative tones are obtained from overlapping acetate layers creating totally new, original effects in strong vivid colours.”

With the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa just around the corner, what better way to carry the prized FIFA World Cup Trophy with a custom made travel case by Louis Vuitton.

“Commissioned by FIFA, the special order case, handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, has been meticulously designed to accommodate the celebrated Trophy, which measures 36 cm in height, weighs 6.175 kg and is made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.”

“Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, the FIFA World Cup Trophy case was made at the company’s original workshop in Asnières, which opened in 1859. The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg, watched by many millions of people across the globe, it will be presented.”

We have seen bags in animals form, tea pot, ridiculous looking shapes and designs but nothing as detail and real crafted like this.  The immaculate creatures which are described as “portable containers” of Lisa Farmer blown our minds away taken form from insects, fish and crustaceans.  We have not seen anything as exquisite and real like this before which provoke the question of the boundaries between fashion, design and art.

A brand that will never stay quiet, She will only be vibrant and loud, and her name is Melody Ehsani. Big fonts, reflection, and colors will never be enough in her design. Surprisingly, exaggerated accessories go well with the ladies. Who said “less is more” ; “more is less” it is in trend now !
