Bangkok-based Rolling Days OLD SCHOOL is one little gem you shouldn’t be missing out on if you’re like us and can’t seem to get enough of chunky, in-your-face rings. What started off as a hobby got founder, Noi making these copper gems and selling them to the masses. There’s a bit of old school meets avant garde play in all the pieces, something we find quite a rare commodity for the price offered. Noi takes in custom make orders in between being a die-hard easy rider (not surprising for someone who owns 7 bikes), so give him a call or shoot yourself to Bangkok if you’re interested to get something customized!

Belgium born Natalia Brilli sure knows how to tempt with her range of fashion accessories that emphasizes on impeccable detailing- bold yet understated at the same time. What pulls her apart from other jewelery designers is her trademark leather sculpturing on many of her pieces; mostly pieces to-die-for like the horse pendant and domino piece as pictured. Lucky for us living within close vicinity of Singapore, her pieces are stocked at On Pedder and Club 21.

If you’re someone who love rings and can’t seem to get enough of them, you might want to take a 2nd look at ‘Ring a Day’ by BUY:AMT. For the price of USD$99, you get 7 pop out stainless steel rings and a sandpaper. What you have to do is simply to pop a pre-cut ring from a stainless sheet, do some polishing around the edges and tada, a ring of your own! Before you think you want to trash out the stainless sheets after the rings have been removed, you can also attach them to a chain and double them as pendants. 7 rings + 7 pendants for USD$99 sounds like a pretty decent deal innit?

Buy them online via their online store at BUY:AMT

chicken-feet-necklace

Crazy or not but jewellery designers David Andersson and Martin Lasson actually came up with the idea of a chicken feet collection after seeing a very pretty girl in a Shanghai subway munching away her deep fried chicken feet while flicking through a copy of French Vogue. Talk about Swedes and their whack ideas huh? If you’re keen to grab yourself a yummylicious chicken feet, make sure you’ve got friends/family within Scandinavia, UK and Germany for the shop isn’t ready for world wide shipping just yet. Guess we’ll just have to make do for now.

Digby & Iona

Growing up in the rural Maine as a child, Aaron Ruff thought he’d become an archaeologist. As an adult, Ruff studied furniture design at Parsons The New School for Design. Wanting to create things that people would closely connect with, he started to create jewelry instead because it’s a whole lot more intimate and precious than furniture.
In 2006, Digby & Iona was born. Ruff’s jewelry is whimsically eerie; he takes found objects-toy soldiers, animals, cassete, rifles, keyholes- and turns them into delicately crafted art. His four collections- The Hunter & Hunted, Vestige, Throwback, and Break Beat Science are hauntingly romantic.
