Thanks to all who participated in our ‘All for the Charity’ event, we managed to raise MYR30k in four hours!

The money will be going to Kiwanis Malaysia, the Haiti Relief Fund through UNICEF, Furry Friends Farm and Kechara Soup Kitchen.

Last 15^th October Femmething was invited to a Nike styling session done by our very own stylist Ethan Chu. Nike Malaysia introduced their latest Holiday 2009 collection featuring some of training and active wear from Nike Women’s Training. Held in The Curve, Petaling Jaya, Nike showcased what women can do to look good and train right. Ethan having worked with Nike before revealed a series of outfits for women using gym wear/ sport wear making it as trendy and stylish to be worn anywhere, whether it’s at the gym or out to a club.  A few of the highlight pieces are the AW77 Fleece Hoodie, Air Maxim and Windrunner that are designed to be the pinnacle of both performance and style. Also remember the Limited Edition Nike Zoom Sister One posted previously. Well it is now available in Malaysia. YUM!

We know it’s been a while, but better now than never! So FT X PMS flew by like a snap after a whole lot of designing, brainstorming and slavery action over the weeks, but we’re glad it’s over and the designs turned out like what our cheeky minds envisioned it to be. A big thank you to all the models-it was great fun working with you guys! Also another round of thank yous to all the love and support from readers, friends and family, you know you mean the world to us. Anyways, here’s a recap of that night through the lens of our beloved photographers-Jules and Jason.

Thanks to our loving brother who got our ass covered, we ripped them off with love, once again. So, here you go:

Yesterday, Reebok held a small media event for the EX-O-Fit HI SG Strap release at Sole What?, and as uaual we were there mooching off as much free booze as we could, and at the same time attempting to bring back some decent coverage for all those who couldn’t make it.

There was a small showcase of some Spring ‘09 samples, and apart from a pack of gradient/fade Reverse Jams for men and a few other bits and bobs, the majority of the stuff on show was for the ladies. So they’ll be glad to know that more Freestyle colourways and various other lifestyle models will be making it to our shores soon. Hit the jump to check out some of the samples.

Also, those looking to cop the EX-O-Fits should hurry, as quantities are extremely limited and quite a few were already snapped up yesterday.

We at femmething had the opportunity to attend the Textile Institute annual design competition held couple of weeks ago @ RMIT Brunswick. From over 150 submissions, only 27 finalists had the opportunity to compete for the grand prize of a 4 week tuition and accommodation at the Paris American Academy. The talented Hye Jin Kim of Ultimo TAFE NSW managed to impress the judges with her entry showcasing feminism and masculinity in a heavily pleated dress & tuxedo combo.

Work experience prizes from labels such as Alannah Hill and The Clothing Company were also given out to a handful of participants. Here’s a look at some of the designs by the 27 finalists:

Hey ladies! The response for Rimmel London’s Malaysia debut is phenomenal! We got a little over-excited when we dropped by the Concourse Roadshow at Mid Valley last week.
